sometimes i really want to be a baby again, where everyone will take care of me and dote on me. perhaps its the price of growing up, that slowly, everyone will lose that period of love and happiness. Especially when more and more problems come our way, we start to feel depressed, stressed and we start to forget the pleasant things in life, what we once had, what we already have and whatever awaits us in the future. everyone loves to be cared for, but as morrie said, everyone has their chance, we all had our chance when we were babies, we all had our childhood when we were in primary sch, and we had our naughty times in secondary school. and soon when we're older, we'll go through our 30's 40's 50's or even 90's. but does everyone really get to enjoy what that phase of life brings?
how about the kids that get abandoned as a baby, or left with a single parent as a child. do they really get the happiness that we, the lucky ones, had? lets stop and think about how much we really have received from up above, and maybe its time to cherish these times with those around you, because you'll never know when they will have to go.
go tell ahma and ahgong that you love them, ask them if they're feeling all right. tell mom and dad how grateful you are to them, for bringing you up, feeding you with unlimited love. tell your ever irritating siblings how much you would miss their irritating acts if you dont see them for a day, tell them nomatter how stupid, irresponsibly, detestable they are, you'll always be there for them.
well, thats what i'll be doing, and i sincerely hope that nobody will wait until its too late to show how much you care. theres no point crying, wailing and screaming after you lose them, so why wait? you'll never know how much a little note can brighten up someone's day.
and as pris always says, we should make the most out of life, cause we only live once.
